Google user data

Privacy notice

Effective July 29, 2026

This notice explains how Ascenda CRM by AvantaHub accesses, uses, stores, and shares Google user data for Ascenda’s Gmail-to-Notion email logging workflow.

Data the app accesses

The app does not download attachments and does not request permission to send, delete, or modify email.

How the data is used

The app uses Gmail data only to match external participants to exact email addresses already present in Ascenda’s Notion CRM and to log eligible conversations to Ascenda’s Notion CRM: Interactions database. A thread with no exact Contact match is not written to Notion. Ascenda-only threads and threads carrying the configured opt-out label are excluded.

Google user data is not sold, used for advertising, used to train AI models, or used for any purpose unrelated to this integration.

Storage and sharing

Control, retention, and deletion

Users can disconnect Gmail from the onboarding page. Disconnecting revokes the stored Google grant and stops future processing. Existing Interactions remain in Ascenda’s Notion workspace until Ascenda deletes them under its own retention policy. To request assistance with access or deletion, contact AvantaHub support.

Google API Limited Use

Ascenda CRM’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
